In case of rain, the movie will be screened inside Queen of Peace Hall which is located directly behind the Sims Park Bandshell. Come on in, it will be warm and dry!

The City of New Port Richey’s Cultural Affairs Committee hosts the Spring & Fall Free For All: Free Movie’s in the Park six months each year in Sims Park [map] for the enjoyment and cultural enrichment of our community. Movies nights have been CHANGED TO SATURDAYS!

Bring a blanket or lawn chairs, snacks, dinner and non-alcoholic beverages, if you like, and prepare to enjoy a beautiful evening in the park with your family, friends and neighbors.

Movies start as soon as it’s dark, so come early to find your spot and let the kids play at the playground or bounce in the bounce houses while you relax with friends.

They fall into adventures involving baseball, treehouse sleep-ins, the desirous lifeguard at the local pool, the snooty rival ball team, and the travelling fair. Beyond the fence at the back of the sandlot menaces a legendary ball-eating dog called The Beast, and the kids inevitably must deal with him.
