Meditation exploration and practice with a unique twist…
Meditation has many benefits for mind, body and spirit–lower blood pressure, decreased feelings of stress and anxiety as well as a general sense of well-being–but many people find it to be intimidating, boring and sometimes just plain impossible.
The committee would like to introduce Ronald Hays (TheGlobalPage.com), a motivational speaker and author from St. Petersburg, Florida. Ron makes meditation practical, accessible and unique using the vibrations and music of crystal bowls, humor and analogy to help you learn about, and experience, the benefits of meditation.
From novice to avid meditators; everyone will enjoy and benefit from this event.
Additional meditation dates: March 30 and June 1
Time: 10:00 am to 11:30 am
Cost: $20

“Every society on the planet has some form of this quieting of the mind in its history. Prayer, meditation, solitude, chant, drumming. Don’t get hung up on the technique or the term. Get hung up on the doing and the being—get hung up on the result.
Two of the greatest gifts we have been given are the ability to create our experiences and choice. When we use these two gifts from a state of awareness we come to know and experience our divine limitlessness. In order to do this we must quiet our mind enough to experience what is beneath the chatter. A quiet mind is not necessarily a blank mind but rather one that has been given a task rather than being the giver of the task.” –Ronald Hays, TheGlobalPage.com
