Chasco Steering Committee to Make Special Event Presentation

The New Port Richey City Council’s October 11, 2011 Work Session will feature a presentation by the Chasco Fiesta Steering Committee regarding the Chasco Fiesta and funding possibilities for the event.

At the September 20, 2011 City Council Meeting, Mayor Consalvo discussed his positive meeting with City Manager John Schneiger and the New Port Richey Chamber of Commerce. He stated that the Chamber’s request for an opportunity to present Chasco Fiesta funding possibilities would be honored at the October 11 City Council Work Session, and that this work session would pertain to Chasco Fiesta funding only.

City Manager John Schneiger stated, “These are difficult economic times, and the desired outcome of this collaborative efforts is that all available options with be explored.”

City Council Work Sessions are held at 6:00pm on the second Tuesday of each month in City Hall Council Chambers, 5919 Main Street, New Port Richey.
